Digital design, 2018
Rotating multi-layered halftone pattern with line width modulation.
Go! (detail), 2018
This is made using a technique I’ve developed, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. There is no function to produce this kind of pattern in either programs; a pattern whereby the ‘dot’ transforms in an irregular and organic movement. Photoshop’s Halftone function only manipulates the size of the dot, and Illustrator’s Blend function cannot transform across multiple directions. By combining specific functions of both programs, I’m able to mimic the functionality of commercially unavailable banknote design software.
